Local Michigan singer Grace Rembinski signs music recording deal and prepares to move to Nashville – CW50 Detroit

Southfield (CW50) – Grace Rembinski, 17, is a country singer from Canton WHO discovered her love for music at an early age. She would grab her little toy guitar and perform in front of her family. When she was in college, she got her first guitar and started writing music.

Around the same time, Rembinski entered a singing competition called “Canton Idol,” a play on the hit show of the signing contest. American Idol. Rembinski won the competition in her first year as a contestant. Someone in the crowd recorded his performance and sent it to Ray Horton, a native of Canton, who runs a music publishing company in Nashville, Mucho Love Music.

In an interview with Hometown Life, Horton spoke about the importance of Rembinski’s story saying, “It’s hard to say exactly what kind of chances she’s already beaten, but I know there are tons of odds. musicians who think they can be successful here, but very, very few do. And the fact that she’s only 16 makes her story even more incredible.

Throughout his teenage years, Rembinski continued to write songs and traveled to Nashville to record his music. At 16, she signed a contract with Mucho Love Music to start publishing her songs. As she finishes her final year in high school, she can’t wait to move to Nashville after graduating.

Before moving to Nashville, Rembinski will release a new song called “Love Yourself” on November 28.
