With a major overhaul, the Pro AI djay music production app allows users to create fully AI-powered DJ sets on their iPhone or iPad.
On Thursday, Algoriddim released a major update to djay Pro AI’s Automix AI feature, allowing users to effortlessly create tracklists, with new transition modes.
The three new automatic transition modes include ‘dissolve’, which steadily evaporates the outgoing track, ‘riser’, a transition designed to generate energy before swapping the tracks, and ‘echo’, which creates an echo effect. on the outgoing track.
“When transitioning, djay can now automatically deconstruct two songs back to their original components and easily apply effects and filters to each, such as adding reverb to erase the vocals, as if it was being reconstructed by a professional sound engineer, ”said Karim Morsy, CEO of Algoriddim.
Other minor updates include a new clipping tool, allowing users to create mashups and remixes. The sampler recorder increased its maximum loop size from four to eight beats.
The djay Pro AI application is available on Mac, iPhone and iPad and can be downloaded from the App Store. The app is free to download, but users can choose to subscribe to additional features for $ 6.99 per month or $ 49.99 per year.
In December, djay Pro AI got native support for Apple’s new M1 chip.
