Speaking on the partnership, Avneesh Khosla, CMO, Vi said, “Our association with Hungama will provide Vi users with access to a rich repertoire of diverse music, in all genres and in their preferred language. And while the app offers a ton of content, there’s no word on the price of these 52 digital live concerts. Will it be a one-time payment or will users have to pay for each gig. Neeraj Roy, Founder of Hungama Digital Media also said, “We are thrilled to be a part of the music journey of over 250 million Vi customers. Our association with Vi allowed us to introduce a unique Pay Per View service model to India’s growing Premium Video on Demand (PVOD) market earlier this year.

In fact, as we reported earlier, Vi (Vodafone Idea) has partnered with Hungama to offer customers access to the Premium Video on Demand (PVoD) service. Priced at Rs 60 and Rs 120, customers will have access to 380 films to rent. The rental period is 48 hours. Using the Vi Movies and TV app, users will be able to stream the content on a bigger screen. The movie catalog is quite extensive and includes popular titles like Tenet and Joker, Birds of Prey, SCOOB, and Aquaman, to name a few. Users will have access to content in Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, for the PVoD service.
