Boomplay now offers Telkom customers dedicated music streaming packages

African music streaming and download platform Boomplay has announced a partnership with Telkom, allowing subscribers to enjoy more affordable music streaming and downloads on the Boomplay app.

The partnership, announced today, will see Telkom Kenya customers access over 75 million local and international songs on Boomplay for as little as KSh. 299 per month. This package will also allow Telkom subscribers to access ad-free music and unlimited downloads from local and international artists whose music is available on Boomplay.

With millions of subscribers on their platform, Telkom offers the perfect opportunity to enhance our vision of ensuring the African music ecosystem unlocks its full potential.says Martha Huro, Boomplay’s Managing Director for East Africa.

This development is the streamer’s first partnership with a telco in Kenya.

The streaming music packages that will be introduced will include daily at KSh. 49 years old, weekly in KSh. 159 and a monthly subscription at KSh. 299, which will be billed from the subscriber’s airtime.
